Edward Green - Oundle
With the double monk juggernaut showing no signs of easing up it seems an opportune time to highlight an incredible example of the single strap variety.
The Edward Green Oundle, is a single strap monk which is unusual due to the high positioning of the strap at the top of the vamp. Most single monk examples tend to have the strap in the middle, it’s this subtle detail that gives the Oundle it’s sleeker and more finely styled profile. The result is a beautiful and unique shoe that can be taken in both casual and formal directions.
This example is on the 82 last in dark oak antique calf. Wishlisted.
